Guests appreciate the hotel’s prime location, just a short stroll from the beach and the bustling town center. Similarly, Tony Godfrey found his holiday to be very enjoyable, praising both the comfort of the rooms and the reasonable pricing.

While many guests have lauded the cleanliness and friendliness that define the Eastbourne Riviera Hotel, some reviews suggest that the rooms could benefit from a modern update. Kim H noted that although the room was spotless and breakfast was tasty, the dated decor and unorthodox electrical setup marred an otherwise perfect experience. Nevertheless, she expressed a desire to return once renovations are made.

The hotel’s amenities cater to a wide array of needs, offering free Wi-Fi, a pleasant bar area, and a hearty breakfast that delights many, including returning guests like Steven Metcalfe, who enjoyed a memorable piano bar cabaret event. The hotel’s accessibility and child-friendly environment also bolster its appeal, making it a great choice for families and those needing extra assistance, as emphasized by Anthony Heusner.

For those seeking attractions, the Eastbourne Riviera Hotel is excellently placed near notable sites such as the Royal Hippodrome Theatre and the iconic Eastbourne Pier, both of which are within walking distance. The stunning Seven Sisters cliffs and the Towner Eastbourne art gallery are must-visit destinations during your stay.

In summary, the Eastbourne Riviera Hotel promises a charming experience with its prime location, delectable breakfast, and warm hospitality. While there are some areas for improvement regarding room aesthetics, the overall value and service provided make it a recommendable choice for those looking to enjoy the beautiful English coastline.

Such a shame the rooms are so dated. The staff are brilliant. The room was spotless. The breakfast tasty and the location very central. The electrics in our room where run of a main socket from an extension lead so not the safestist. Would definitely return if some money was spent on the rooms.

Good value, good location, no issues really. No A/C in the rooms but wasn't too bad on those hot days. Reasonably clean all around.

As part of a largish crowd attending a big show at the Hippodrome theatre this past weekend (we stay every year). The hotel is right opposite the beach and promenade, The rooms are comfortable and adequate, the staff are absolutely super, the breakfast selection is great , we had a “piano bar cabaret” function in the huge lounge area on Friday evening for some sixty people including a fish and chip supper..excellent ! Can’t wait for next year..thank you to all the staff.

It's probably the most helpful place I've been to. They accommodated my wife, who had just had an operation. Staff were very happy. Rooms were clean and spacious. Plus, we had breakfast and it was hot and nice
